Overview of the role:

The Growth Marketing Specialist will report to the Chief Marketing Officer but will work very closely with every member of the organization. The GMS will be responsible for building an inbound lead engine, tracking and managing pipeline analytics, packaging existing content and thought leadership into email campaigns that convert, and attribution modeling to understand program performance. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, have a natural sense of curiosity about how prospects engage with our owned, earned, and paid media, and will be a creative problem solver with an enterprising attitude. We already have strong product-market fit and 100% customer referenceability, so the most important role that our GMS will play is to help prospects discover, understand, and engage with RefAssured, and to delight them through deep product knowledge and market expertise, collaboration, honesty, integrity, and humility.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, manage, and own marketing programs and demand generation – from campaign ideation to execution and performance tracking
  • Strategize on the right martech stack to accomplish the outcomes that you will drive and lead
  • Take our existing thought leadership and package it into email campaigns and short-form copy that informs, delights, and converts
  • Connect marketing data to our sales systems including Salesforce, SalesLoft, and others
  • Track, monitor, and report on attribution, program performance, Google Analytics trends, website conversion optimization, and more
  • Develop and manage warm lead hand-offs to Sales and funnel management to ensure optimal deal velocity and stage conversion ratios
Skills:
  • Proven success as part of a best-in-class marketing team where internal training was a structured and integral component to professional development
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS
  • Exceptional written communication skills and grammar (we love Oxford commas)
  • Technical acumen, not just intellectual curiosity about our product and the industry at large, but passion for platforms and solutions like Salesforce, Salesloft, leading staffing applicant tracking systems, marketing automation systems, and more
  • Unpretentious confidence: that means being humble, easygoing, smart, thoughtful, creative, well-informed, and willing to roll your sleeves up and win as a team
  • A desire for continuous learning and staying on the cutting edge of what’s out there and what’s possible
  • Previous experience in a content marketing or design-related role is not expected, but certainly a plus
  • A degree in English, history, or philosophy is a plus
