Overview of the role:

The Senior Account Executive will report to our Director of Sales but will work very closely with every member of our small and mighty team cross-functionally. The SAE will carry a quota and be responsible for lead generation, qualification, increasing deal velocity, and effectively communicating our platform value props to grow RefAssured’s customer base within staffing, particularly in healthcare and IT segments. We already have strong product-market fit and 100% customer referenceability, and the most important role that our new SAE will play is to be a culture carrier and customer advocate, working tirelessly to honor our prospects and customers through deep product knowledge and market expertise, collaboration, honesty, integrity, and humility.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a navigational consultant to our prospects in helping them make a thoughtful decision on purchasing our quality of talent solutions
  • Demo RefAssured confidently, accurately, comfortably, and thoughtfully to enterprise staffing agencies with a deep understanding of their respective needs and goals
  • Own outbound prospecting, build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach, creative prospecting, and consistent follow-up
  • Advise our prospects on labor market trends and share informed expertise on staffing trends and opportunities for differentiation and growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to educate prospects on RefAssured value drivers, ROI, and the benefits of long-term partnership
  • Engage with partners, peers, and customers to maintain deep industry knowledge and cultivate profitable and authentic relationships that propel all of us forward
  • Manage the sales process, which includes Salesforce database quality, stage acceleration, conversion optimization, and be relentlessly data-driven in your sales methodology and approach
Skills:
  • Deep understanding of the staffing industry, its players, and staffing agency workflow complexity – previous experience at a staffing ATS provider or at a staffing agency in an operational role is a plus
  • Proven success in being part of a winning/industry-best sales team that sold into staffing agencies
  • Technical acumen, not just intellectual curiosity about our product and the industry at large, but comfort with platforms and solutions like Salesforce, Salesloft, leading staffing applicant tracking systems, marketing automation systems, and more
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Unpretentious confidence – the ideal candidate will be humble, easygoing, smart, thoughtful, creative, well-informed, willing to roll their sleeves up, and dedicated to doing the right thing for customers
  • Previous experience in a marketing-related role, including skills such as pitching, messaging/positioning, social media, content marketing, and video editing is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a product-related role involving close collaboration with software developers/R&D/engineering, customer interviews/feedback collection, product roadmap architecture, or product management is not expected, but desirable
